It didn't take the internet long to identify this "Karen" as Lori Nunis, a local woman walking her dog that confronted the filming crew of a surprise marriage proposal at Crescent Bay Point Park, demanding they dismantle the setup and claiming she had called the police. Once the mariachi music started, she yelled xenophobic remarks including "this isn't Mexico" and "go back to Mexico".
