In celebration of the centennial of America's most iconic highway, Route 66, Joan Gladstone's exhibit of 18 oil paintings that capture the nostalgia and spirit of the 2,400-mile "Mother Road" and its legendary, colorful signage is on display at the Hilbert Museum through May 30, 2026. She talks to Ed about her inspiration in creating the paintings, and efforts to preserve the highway's history.
